About Us

'Storytelling in Schools' is a subsidiary of Storytelling Today Limited, a new venture set up by international storyteller Graham Langley and Storytelling Café National Tours Administrator Steve Wright. It is based in the Midlands, with offices in Birmingham and Matlock.

Our objective for 'Storytelling in Schools' is to offer high quality storytellers to schools of all types for performances, workshops and special projects. For the first year we shall be concentrating on Junior schools in the Midlands but intend eventually to cover all age ranges throughout the whole of the United Kingdom.

We are currently building up our portfolio of quality storytellers and already have on our books a number of nationally recognised individuals.

Steve Wright

Steve Wright is an enthusiastic traditional arts administrator. He has many years experience of running his own small consultancy firm and was attracted to the world of storytelling by a mutual friend introducing him to Graham in 2006. He believes storytelling offers marvelous opportunities for children (and adults) of all ages to savour the spoken word in general and the literature of stories from many lands and many times in particular.
